Snow is gone!
Posted by Ian Gutjahr in Uncategorized on 04 24th, 2009The snow is finally gone! It’s been 7 months but it’s finally gone! It snowed yesterday and melted today ![]()
Anyway, here’s what I’ve been up to!
I joined a group of local car enthusiests called Medicine Hat Autosports and helped them create a stand alone website directly related to thier club. http://medicinehatautosports.comraman amplifier so most of my time online goes to that web site.
So far we’ve had window decals printed and put together weekly cruise meets! We are also in the process of getting t-shirts printed for advertisement! ![]()
Offline I spend all my (free) time in the garage building my car! So far it’s almost ready to go onto the road! But I will try not to leak all my car related junk onto this blog because I’ve created a dedicated project log for that here: http://ian.medicinehatautosports.com
On my non free time I spend it at school and at work.
Does anyone even remeber this site anymore? Comment if you really do come back!
read comments (1)Lately?
Posted by Ian Gutjahr in Uncategorized on 01 20th, 2009>online casinoately I’ve been doing one thing - working. I’ve been making some major cash the past couple of months - which can be shown from the huge pile of parts in the corner of my garage.
Other than working, I’ve been doing the regular school things. It’s my last year, so I might as well make it a good one.
Other than that, I have no life. This will probably be my last post for a long while on here. My life has become so boring that on days I don’t work, I just sit around and wish I was working - haha.
Wordpress 2.7!
Posted by Ian Gutjahr in Destructive Chaos on 12 16th, 2008Nothing like a new wordpress release to make you post something new. I don’t know when it was released so this is probably old news. I’ve been working so much lately I haven’t had time to post anything.
We got snow. That’s all I can say.

We are still in lockdown right now as I type. Still have no idea what’s going on.
So far what we’ve heard is that it’s a problem in the science lab. Still have no idea what it is. 1:47PM.
Everything is being shutdown right now. Will post again later.
Message coming threw: Threat warning. School is safe. Lockdown lifted. Lunch until 2:30.
Everything is cool.
Listen to the radio.
Pacesetter Header
Posted by Ian Gutjahr in Hobbies on 05 7th, 2008>hotel furnishing in Bulgaria week I had my exhaust fixed on the car.
I had the exhaust manifold replaced with a Pacesetter short tube header because my stock manifold had a giant crack in it. The crack went all the way down the middle pipe causing all the exhaust to escape thus not providing the proper back pressure.
The gains of having the exhaust fixed were amazing! The car idles better and the high end pulls alot harder. Anything over 3000rpm pulls you back in the seat like you could not believe!
I did not have the proper flange for them to bolt the header on, so they had to weld it onto the pipe. To properly weld up the exhaust they had to take the catalytic converter off and replace it with a peice of flex pipe (it’s not cheap). Now all I have to do as add a bracket to stop it from clunking on fast stops and bumps.
The car makes crackling noises when letting off the throttle at high rpm pulls but that can be fixed with a resonator (about $50.00).
I’m super happy with this new header! The only thing I don’t like is that the ‘paint’ that Pacesetter put on comes off after one use. If you have a manifold put on your car, have it ceramic coated first!
The actual header only cost me $100.00 (brand new) but the install killed the deal. I had to pay Budget Brake and Muffler $490.00 for the install since they had to fab up the entire thing. It also took them 3 days (which was rediculess) but they got the job done.
Car feels like a brand new car! I love it!
